Bounce Dryer Bar Review
6:21 AM Posted In blogher , bounce , review Edit This 91 Comments »I am sure you guys have seen the Bounce Dryer Bar around the laundry aisle, as I have. I have been curious about these for a long time now, because I am a very LOYAL Bounce buyer. There is just nothing else that smells as good to me, and folding laundry is MUCH more pleasurable when it smells all warm and fresh. I also HATE static so dryer sheets have been a staple in this house since forever. That being said, our laundry room has a unique layout:
The washer and dryer are stacked on one side and the cabinets holding all our supplies are across the way on the other side. It is very annoying to be holding Fenn in one arm, putting wet clothes in the dryer with my free hand and then having to cross over to get a dryer sheet. I love the newfound freedom and just closing the door and turning it on. It sounds crazy, and like such a little thing but it does make a great difference in the overall process. I used to think I was crazy for being annoyed with this process, and then I saw on Midwesternita's blog she feels the same way! So... Bounce Dryer Bar it is! Another thing that is worth noting is how many dryer sheets are all over the floor in our house. The doggles LOVE shredding those things for unknown reasons and I am so excited to not have them laying around or having to clean them up anymore. Now I know you cloth diapering mommas out there may be thinking "But dryer sheets are not good for cloth diapers." True, and anytime I dry a load of diapers I just slide the Bounce Dryer Bar out of its holder. It is VERY easy. The casing is what sticks to the inside of the dryer and the bar is what you replace when you need a new one in about 3 months. Adding or removing the Bounce Dryer Bar is very easy and takes about 1 second.
After using this for about a week, I noticed that loose fuzz and hair also clings to the Bounce Dryer Bar and not your clothes. That is a nice side effect! (Especially for pet owners who always battle dog hair!)

I do atleast 2 loads a day...one dark and one white. Last week we were without a dryer for 5 days, and I almost died at the amount of laundry I had to catch up on over the weekend...seriously, the pile was like 4 feet tall!!! I always find my dog chewing on dryer sheets, so this is s fabulous alternative!!!
I lost count of the number of laundry loads I do per week, but if I had to guess, 4+.
about 7
thanks also for a chance to win!

Usually 2 loads a week, one dark and one white. But, then there is the mysterious pastel load that doesn't classify as either that happens about once every two weeks or so, unless there are stains then I try to go ahead and wash it on it's own.. I don't like to do singles like that.. too much of a waste. But, you do what you have to do to keep the stains out.

Let's see...we usually do at least four loads a week and each load takes like an hour and a 1/2 to wash and dry...but you can run things simultaneously..so that is what...5-6 hours a week total? egads...that is crazy!
