Friday Randomosity...

I have not loved reading in a long time, and all of a sudden my love for reading has been revived. It was also a goal I set for myself in the new year since I watch so much TV! I kept seeing so much twitter chatter about The Hunger Games Series that I had to read it and.... ITS AWESOME. I find myself thinking about these books all through out the day and night. Highly recommend them!

I know a lot of you new mommas or pregnant ladies out there read my blog so let me direct you over to a bloggy friend of mine who did an excellent post on Breast feeding. I think its good to know all points of view on this because really, you never know what your situation will be like till you are there, so stay open minded!

I'm researching ideas for our potential new play room. Anyone have cool pics or ideas to share? Please do so!

I have recently discovered how much is missing in our lives without butter. BRING ON THE BUTTER. Things cooked in butter are fantastical. I bet you could cook a stick in butter and it would taste good!

We got the CUTEST Thank you card in the mail yesterday from a girlfriends baby shower. Check these out. You can make any letter block and color scheme!

I still need to read the Hunger Games trilogy. I've heard so much about it.

Going to read that post now.. I love hearing all the different opinions.

I'm in the middle of a playroom makeover brainstorming session, too...my favorite find for the playroom so far has been two green fabric storage cubes from Target that we are also using as chairs for Merrill's table. For only $15 each, they are perfect to stash dress up clothes and doll clothes in and would work great for puzzles and more. And did I mention they are only $15 each? :)

Our new playroom is now the most useful room in our house! Ben loves it and I love having all the plastic toys put away in their place. It's great now that Ben is sitting up to play by himself while I cook and do things around the house in a nice safe baby proof room. Can't wait to see what you do! The jumperoo is one of the best things!!! Can't wait to see Fenn in one!

Loved the link to breastfeeding too. I think it's so important people realize the nurses on the floor aren't the lactation experts. Definitely use the lactation nurses! And I totally feel her pain of feed, pump, etc. I too gave up on nursing and exclusively pump...... Challenging too but somewhat easier.

The Hunger Games is next on my list. I recently finished the Outlander series (7 VERY long books and at first hard to read). That series will go down as the best books I've ever read. I'm contemplating re-reading them and I am NOT a re-reader.
