New Year, New Face...

One thing that became pretty apparent about my 30's was that foundation was more of a requirement than a choice. I never really thought that my skin would change so much as I age, but it does! Pregnancy was a total game changer as well. I drink about 80 oz or so of water a day but still my skin SOAKS up moisture these days. I just finished a tube of my most extreme Moisturizer from Jurlique, that no lie, I have had since first year of marriage ( 2006). I know CT is cringing as she reads that. I have a really bad habit of stretching out my products for years, which I now know is not cool or nec. sanitary. oops! but my inner cheapo takes over.
But for serious, The Chapmans gave me some great new products for my birthday! Bobbi Brown Moisturizer and Foundation. I am in love with both. It is nice having pretty, hydrated skin again! So if any of you are looking for new face makeup to try, I fully endorse both with 5 stars. The moisturizer also acts as a primer, and the foundation has SPF in it. The moisturizer is the best I have EVER used. I think it is great for ladies my age who need a little more than just hydration! I am still using my Revlon PhotoReady powder and still really love it!
Anybody else a Bobbi fan?

Bobbi Brown has a special place in my heart. The moisturizer is awesome, pricy, but it does last a long time. My favorite Bobbi...the bronzer! That is my ONE must have in my makeup drawer. Lasts a long time also. She has a great philosophy on makeup. The Rosewater Lavender Tonic Face stuff is lovely also...only $20ish. Smells so good...dang, now I want to go to Belk. :)

Hehe...yeah I cringed a "tiny" bit. However, some moisturizers are quite pricey, so it pays to stretch them out.

Thanks for the Bobbi post! I've always wondered about her products, but never tried. Perhaps I should next (since that lovely 3-0 is also approaching for me!)

I don't have any BB foundation, but I do love the shimmerbricks!

"30", I will definitely try the BB! I thought my Avon was doing pretty good but you may be right, pricey may be better????? ♥

Love BB. But I have to admit, the price usually deters me. I'm a bit of a cheapo when it comes to make up and beauty products. Instead, I use MAC. Their Primer and foundation work well for me at about half the price.

Oh I do love some Bobbi Brown. My current love is the gel eyeliner. Sounds scary but super precise and so pretty. She had a lip gloss a few years ago (well, ha about 5) called Rose Sugar that was my favorite of my lifetime, and then I think it got taken away. I wonder if she brought it back? Hmm....
