28 Weeks Complete and 29th Started Yesterday!

Well today is the 2nd day of week 29! That means almost 30 which is almost 40 which is almost time for me to get my body back! It is amazing how things can change over night in pregnancy. One day you wake up and you are HUGE! One day you wake up and you have crazy hormones, and one day you wake up and you feel great. It's always a mystery.
I am thankful to say that this week has been very good for me emotionally. I was slightly worried about the dark side swallowing me whole for a bit. This past week also marked the start of:

  • Braxton Hicks Contractions. Not a big deal really, but I googled because my stomach would feel so hard and tight and uncomfortable I wondered if I was just out of room down there. Turns out its all just part of the fun!
  • Fenn moves constantly! I mean daylight to midnight this little dude is hanging from my ribs, bouncing on my bladder, or practicing his disco moves. Due to his size, all this moving isn't as fun for mommy as it once was. I always loved the kicks because it makes the idea of a real living human coming out of there more real. Week 28 I stopped loving all that movement because my ribs hurt SO BAD!
  • The weight just keeps on coming! I am pretty sure I have gained a total of about 32 lbs so far. DANG that is a lot! We found Erik's baby book recently and just FYI he was a 9lb and 11oz baby. Holy Moly! So I am gonna blame my weight gain on the fact that our baby is probably a sumo baby, and not on the fact that I eat a pack of Oreos every day!
  • My Belly Button is no longer! It's not exactly an "outie" but its inside out for sure!

are you going to try to deliver naturally if the doctor thinks fenn might be that big?

Looking good! You will have your old skinny minny body back in no time!
I hate my legs more than ever right now! And I've always hated them..... you'd think with all the extra weight they've been carrying around, they'd get a little toned. Although I suppose that would require me to move around a bit.

Fenn is going to be a mover and a shaker just like his parents! Glad you will have a little one that can rock it out! :) Keep up the good work!

Fenn really is going to be louder out of your belly than he is in so I am a little frightened! ;-)

Isn't it crazy how things change over night?! You look great! I remember the appointment where I stepped on the scale and weighed more than Phillip. He laughed. I do to, now.
