Adopt a Sock Monkey Today!

The House of Sock Monkey's is a cute little mother daughter run operation over at Etsy. They come with their own "story" kind of like the American Girl dolls, 'cept with a sense of humor! Mine's name is Keisha and she wears neon high top sneakers and clothes made out of glitter. Their long lost cousin Mumford the Monkey has his own blog which is sure to bring the giggles !

dusty's sock monkey is named winston crane, he's an old school southern attorney who's semi retired. i think he used to party in the 80's but now he mainly likes to keep it quite, just reads and works out 3 days a weeks. he's a creature of habit, and a monkey of few words, but when he does speak, everyone listens.

My Mom and I are trying to help families and individuals find that little something extra in their lives and Sock Monkeys are the exclamation point to the sentence! They can come loaded with personality or they can come hesitant and shy, but they all eventually come mischevious and fantastic fun. They can be friends, siblings, traveling partners (they love to go anywhere and everywhere), sounding boards for tough decisions, taste testers...whatever you need, there will be a sock monkey for you. My own sock monkey is named Bryiani and he is a yogi. Can never get a straight answer out of him. Informs me that he is everything and nothing. Rocks out to a little sitar. Usually in a meditative state. Very calming. And my husbands sock monkey is a father and son, Boo and Bo Bradley. Their favorite holiday is halloween. Extremely energetic, they just experienced snow for the first time and are still chattering about it.

My sock monkey, tutti macphearson, came into my life last summer. Her passion is for the performing arts and her goal is to one day become a part of the cast of beach blanket babylon (even though she has been tone deaf since birth) in san francisco, hopefully to portray britney spears, her idol! This winter, Tutti made it as far as being the coat check girl for the matinee performances, she's on her way to the top! God bless her for her ongoing optimism!!! Her trusty sidekick is Franklin, a rainbow colored hummingbird who love to go clubbing. I have yet to meet him, but she promises he's always around except for his weekly outing to the clubs...

My sock monkey is Edward! Just like me, he loves to read and his favorite book series is "Twilight". Edward is a bit different; he is a Vampire sock monkey and has the little fangs to prove it. He's a vegetarian and his favorite food is blood oranges. He is extremely strong, fast, loves mountain lions but hates wolves. He has a sparkling personality, can read minds and I can't imagine life without him. He goes everywhere with me and I take pictures of him for his photo album. I meet lots of people who come up to me to learn more about Edward. He's an excellent conversation starter!!
