Last year I had SOOOO many tomatoes in the Garden I didn't know what to do with all of them. This year, before growing I made some plans to do a few new things, one of which was to dry them! These were tomatoes from when we got back from Mexico.
Not very big but still good!
I washed them, de-seeded them, and cut them into 4ths. They shrink to about 1/4 their original size so keep that in mind when cutting them up. (Julie Brayball Take notice of those lovely baking racks you guys gave us for one of our wedding presents! Thank you they were very handy!) Then I put them in the oven at 100 degress for about a billion hours. Remember to line the bottom of the oven with tin foil cause this can get messy!
I kept the seeds and plan to dry them and replant. Maybe that will work? It works well with all my flowers every year!
I would love to show you an after pic, however they were gone about 20 minutes after they were done. They were VERY good so I highly recommend this to anyone who has a lot of maters!
