We started here: At the Salvation Army...
Then spent a day getting primed and drying:
Then spent a day getting painted (3coats) & drying:
then it was done! I absolutely love it!

I still have many chairs to prime & paint as you can see! The table I am a little worried about. I may have mixed up some steps in my painting process that could lead to the paint peeling off of it. Cross your fingers that doesnt happen cause I dont think I can handle another 3 days and 4 layers of painting it!!
I would also like to say that 2 years ago, the dining room suite I wanted was from West Elm and was very $$. For the price of ONE chair from west elm I have a unique and awesome dining room set that was/is fun to create!

Very nice! Can't wait to see it all completed. :)
Great job Laura! Painting in NO bueno.
Looks great. Can't wait to see how the chairs look with it! You are so creative.
OK, first of all, I LOVE the fact that Erik comments on your blog! Second, I love love love the new table!
What a beautiful table...looks like it turned out great!
Hey L-
Looks awesome!
One of the things I love that I see on blogs is to list paint colors used. As we both know how hard it can be to pick out paint? Did you list yours on there and I just didn't see them? If not,...tell tell tell.
Hey--
I came to your blog from designsponge. I'm having a great time looking over all your projects--very cool!
I am about to paint a table and chairs, and I'd love if you posted some details.
Do you sand in between coats? With what? Is the final coat ridge-free? What products do you use?
Thanks. Keep up the good work!
Hallie.
