So all those months ago I started shopping for curtains, and then fabric. Fabric is expensive, and of coarse requires more work so I tried every way I could around that, all to no avail. Below is my favorite fabric that I found and I have been pondering it for months; partly b.c I didn't want to pay for it (ha) and partly because I change my mind so often I wanted to make SURE that I really loved it.This whole week I have been completing all my random projects around the house so I headed on over to Calico Corners to see it in person, immediately loved it, and purchased it along with a blackout liner. Those doors in our bedroom bring in a lot light and also a nice draft in the winter months so i am counting on these heavy insulated curtains to take care of that!
So early this AM, I picked up ole wooty boots and and she came over to make the fabric turn into curtains. She is QUITE the seamstress. She does lots of things I never have the patience for like, measuring, ironing, pinning and "allowing for the repeat". I am so blessed to have all these talented friends who, as my mom says, are so generous with their time & talent! It seriously took about 2 hours per curtain! I could not be more pleased! They are awesome and so professional! Thanks Wooty! You are awesome.
