4th of July Party

These are the patriotic Panna Cottas I made after reading about them on the Kitchen Mischief Blog. They were delish so head over to that blog and copy down that recipe!
Here are all the beautiful decorations and tables I had set up on the deck that were completely ruined by the rain. It did not just sprinkle.... but it FLOODED. It almost ruined the party...
Then the grill would not light. Turns out we messed some things up when we moved the grill to stain the deck, but Erikface figured it out and saved the day.
but the party really got started when Danny arrived. All the time we have known him, we never knew that he runs a fireworks stand on the side.
He shows up here not just with all the girly fireworks (i.e. gigantor sparklers) but also with HUGE GINORMOUS professional fireworks.
and just when you thought THAT was fun, he broke out the 25" confetti tube bombs, multiple ones, and the entire house was showered in beautiful rainbow bits!
All in all it was a great party with great food and fantastic friends! Thanks to everyone for coming!
