New Iphone Apps to Look Into This Summer!

This app is called DSLR Remote and I heard about it from PaulBurnsDesign. Essentially it turns your iphone into a remote control for your SLR cameras. The only catch is you must be on a WIFI network. It would be awesome though to be able to use that when taking group shots instead of using a timer!
Another neat program you can get is called Handi.... 40D or whatever camera you have. This program will download a quick tips help manual to your phone so that you always have it and can refer back to it with questions on how to operate your camera.

ColorSnap - An app created by Shermin-Williams to help users manage paint colors. Lots of neat features like:
  • Use your own pictures and match them to more than 1,500 Sherwin-Williams colors.
  • Discover a coordinating palette that complements your chosen color.
  • Save colors to your library within the app for future projects/reference.

Benjamin Moore could not let that go on, so they have also created an iphone app to represent their paints. It is called Ben Color capture and was supposed to launch June 1st but is no where to be seen yet! Probably still waiting approval in the Apple Store.

Either way you can stop carring around 5lb Paint swatch sheets!
