Pottery Barn Knock Offs that rock !

Wal-mart has a new line called "canopy" that is a Pottery Barn knock off and I am super impressed with prices and looks! Quality sounds good from what I read but that is always personal opinion. We own one piece of Pottery Barn furniture and I am very disappointed in how well it has held up versus what it cost. I doubt I would buy anything from them again in that category.
Anyway check out the site and tell me what you think!

Yeah...pottery barn. If you read the fine print it says "particle board"--not even real wood. SO not worth the price. I do, however like their accessories and such. But doubt I'll ever buy any of their furniture.

Another company that has knock-offs and sometimes even real wood? JCPenney. Got my desk from there, and it's pretty good!

Yeah, Pottery Barn is usually not worth the price. Our casual dishes are from there, and I've already exchanged them once. They say dishwasher and microwave safe, but you put them in the microwave and they get so freakin hot you need an oven mitt to hold them. And then they develop this lovely little web pattern on them. I now forego the microwave, but the dishwasher is a must!

Well at the end of the day, Wal-mart is never going to be quality either...

It's not Walmart furniture. I just did my research. Walmart is just the distribution medium. This brand, Canopy, sells complete wood products with no particle board. The down-side...you have to put it together yourself. But honestly, I'd never be able to get some of this stuff in the house without having to put it together while inside or a bed up my cornered stairs!

Thanks for the link. I may have to buy their furniture in the future.

We bought a whole set of the canopy furniture about a year ago. I love PB and wanted the look w/o the price tag. I have to say I LOVE the canopy collection and I get so many compliments on them. Everyone is always shocked when I say it's from walmart.
