The Big Celine Dion Concert

I never, in a million years. thought I would be going to a Celine Dion concert. Nothing against her, she is just not generally my style, but lucky for us we have a diverse group of friends who introduce us to things we never knew about before. Matt & Scott were the reason we bought those tickets and boy am I glad we did. We had a fantastic time last night!
Without a doubt we were the youngest people there and i have NEVER seen as many fur coats as I saw in that arena last night. It was insane. Nashville has a very active, and somewhat obnoxious PETA group so I was surprised to see people brave enough to wear all that fur.
I did not wear my pretty dress as planned b.c bubs was not being a good sport about his outfit and also it was FREEZING so I opted for the much more cozy, sparkly skinny jeans!
Celine was very personable. She enjoys what she is doing and does a great job with each song. She also makes a ton of funny faces.. I wish I had some of that on camera. We didnt think cameras were allowed and left my big camera at home and snuck in the Point & Shoot only to see that everyone brought their cameras! Dang! She looks AMAZING. I was blown away at her figure and what great shape she was in.
I posted a clip below of a Heart song, which was not a great song to hear her sing but it shows off the theatrics and stage better than the other clips
She also sang "because you love me" and that song made me cry! I have not heard it in years, especially since the accident, and it just reminded me of all the people who were holding us up during that time ( and still are :).
Great concert which I highly recommend!
She is playing in Birmingham tonight so get a ticket and dont forget to wear your fur coat!

PS I totally forgot that Titans player Kevin Mawae was sitting near us with his wife! He was super sweet signing autographs for people that asked him .

Gurl, I am so jealous. I don't have anyone to go with in Birmingham. I love Celine.

Fun! If you wanna see some serious theatrics and production, you should go to a MADONNA concert! It's OVER the top insane.

Okay, I have been patiently waiting for my Celine report. I am disappointed that you didn't wear your new hott dress, but now we just need another excuse to hit the town!

Celine Dion...Isn't it funny how you really want to see certain entertainers that you wouldn't be caught dead seeing 5 or 10 years ago? It looks like it was a cool production, and she cracks me up with the facial expressions and arm movements. Looks like you had good seats too! Fun stuff.

I wanted to go to that concert in Bham so bad. No one would go with me. I will live through you! Glad it was fun.
