I need some of these!


All the Samantha Newcomb's of the world: here is your forum! The Grizas + Matt + Scott + Juliel are all on a "Get Fit for Cabo" plan. Its kind of hilarious and kind of fun at the same time.
Susannah evaluated my habits when she was here and said that my 6 pack abs are being covered up with sugary drinks... so Starting Aug 1 it was no more Vitamin Waters, Sprites etc in fact just WATER and also lots of working out. We all report our stats to each other each night which helps stay motivated but I know very little about exercise.
I do know, that after lunges yesterday.. I can BARELY sit down.. ha So for those of you who actually like this sort of thing, lets hear some ideas of how i can tone my butt and flatten my abs in 2 short weeks!

I offer this advice:

cardio will burn fat. do at least 40 minutes each time.

weightlifting/crunches/push ups will tone the muscles and burn even more calories.

eating small meals throughout the day will keep your blood sugar stable.

eat a carb, a fat, and a protein with each small meal.

Hope this helps. I paid a lot of money to learn that tidbit of info...

Hey girl! I lost about 8 lbs in 2 weeks by cutting out meat. Stick to fish & eggs for protein. I always said I could never go without my meat, but you'll be surprised at how much better you feel all around! I also drank nothing but water and I think that really helped too...

Bootcamp I tell you!!! She is right above, both cardio and weight training. Most women when tryign to loose weight will only do cardio (to burn calories) but weight training actually increases what you burn. Amy

definitely mix cardio and weight lifting! very important because muscle burns more fat. also eat very healthy making sure you watch your sodium and sugar intake. keeping your body guessing by incorporating different workouts is a great way to get results (ie. running, swimming, biking, cardio intervals, circuit training)very proud of you guys but you all already look great but props for being more healthy!!
