"Into the Wild". Best book I have ever read. Every person I recommend this to tells me how glad they are that they read it. I read it back in 1998, and they made a movie out of it last year (which was great by the way). Its by an author named John Krakaur. He wrote Into Thin Air, a recount of the 1996 Mr. Everest tragedy. He worked for Outside magazine and was there to write an article. Its a long story, but he ended up saving 12 lives close to the summit and was not even suppose to climb the Mtn. He has a HUGE vocabulary and paints the most intelligent picture for a story to be told. BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ. You can read it in a few days. Its an adventure you will not regret. I have a copy I can mail to you if you would like. Email me @ kamots02@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Read Eat, Pray, Love. It's so good! It's a light read and great for a trip. Oprah loves it. Enough said.

Lucky Bones. It is a mystery and awesome. Don't read that much and couldn't put it down. ALso, Smashed. It is a story about a girl's sturggle from being an alcoholic. Juicy. Have fun on your trip.

I think Mrs Skipper meant "Her Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. It's not a very "happy" book, but very good!

I think you should get "Everyone Poops" for Erik/Flossie/Ralphie. That may be on their level! Hah!

wells if you want something fun and a quick read i would recommend Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella. Funniest book I've ever read!!! You can borrow my copy if you like...

I have an extra "Everyone Poops" if you'd like to borrow it (it's in the guest bathroom) Also, i have read "Lovely Bones" I read it on a work trip and cried the entire plane ride. But it was very good...
Lately I like Sophie Kinsella's books like "confessions of a Shopaholic" (sounds appropriate...), "The Undomestic Goddess" (right up my ally) and "Can you Keep a Secret?" Her books are quick and funny!

Any Karen Kingsbury books are good. She has about 30 to 40 books. Some are in series. You mom I think has read some of them.

"Wicked" is good stuff. Also "The Alchemist", which is a little shorter, but could change your life (ok well not really but it does make you think)
