And then came the boring part...

Appliance Shopping. Ugh. We had to do it and have been procrastinating since we bought the house, but who can live in a house with no appliances.. ha. I should have known better than to EVER take Erik with me to do this. It reminded me of when my dad would take me shopping for clothes in High School (back when I liked cheap clothes) and he would make all this embarrassing racket about how much something cost... "Shemanety (sounds just like it looks She-Ma-Net-E.. he uses this word alot) Laura... A belt cost $30!?!?!" stuff like that... except Erik is laying all back in his chair at Lowe's acting like he has a terminal illness and saying " Just kill me now. Just kill me now. We're broke.. You've spent all my money woman." then he would follow those statements with " This is a big investment Laura, don't be buying a bunch of crap. Make sure its stainless steel, no I don't want black handles on the stove" so as you can see this was a whole bucket of fun.
I am very glad to say we can finally mark this off our list of "Stuff that must be done before we can officially move in" and I am also glad to say that our new fridge has a deli tray where we can properly store the 400 lbs of Deli Meat Erik consumes weekly.

Nice appliances!! I hope they are Energy Star appliances. You know your fridge is typically the least energy efficient appliance in your home... it is where you lose the most money on your power bill.. not from A/C like alot of peeps think..
