I'm Just Wonderin'....

But do any of you that read the blog, really agree with all this "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Hoopla? I mean I have been hearing about it all day, and well, I didn't think it was that big of a deal... I mean he was in his house, and pretty much everyone is at their most tacky, when they are home right? ... So WHO CARES what he said? Was it worth pulling his show? I don't watch it or anything ( I don't think I could look at his nasty mullet long enough to watch), but I thought it was a little extreme to pull his show. I really wish America would just get over all this having their feelings hurt crap. Words are words and if we have freedom of speech, then why are people constantly being punished for speaking their minds? And if we demand tolerance for every issue under the sun, then why cant we expect tolerance in these situations? It all just seems like a huge double standard to me.
Anyway, What do you guys think? Am I missing something here or if you feel differently can you please explain it to me? Matt/Tonya... I know you have something to say! So put it out there and let me hear you!
And anyway, what can you really expect from a man that refers to HIMSELF, as "Dog"
Think on that one...

Ok, just listened a little to that whilst at work so i had to turn it off when he dropped the first F bomb.
So i can't really comment on it cause i didn't listen. But you should never say racist things on camera / tape cause you instantly lose credibility
PS. His show was terrible. They ran around everywhere picking up guys who violated parole. He is a huge loser.

He spent however many years in the state pen... hmmm, let's think about it. There's the white's, the blacks, and the mexicans. Who's side do you think he was on? and think he ever heard any negative things about the others that may be instilled in his brain forever?? Not a chance. In any case, he got sold out by his son and he should have his ballz put in a sling for that

First of all, I don't think anyone should say racist words regarding ANY race!! However, I've heard this particular word more from my former African-American family than any other! So why is it ok for your boy to call you the word but your white friends are risking their lives when they say it? We do live in America & freedom of speech is one of our major rights. But we cant stop people- celebrity or not- from being ignorant. And that's what "Dog" has been caught being- IGNORANT!

LOL PREACH Tonya! I knew you would have something good to day!
I was thinking the bigger more news worthy thing was that his son sold him out! (right on marty) and I agree hate words shouldnt be encouraged , however, you cant change what is in people's hearts by demanding they be the way you want... pulling his show etc wont change the way he feels.

i am a HUGE supporter of freedom of speech so i think he has the right to say whatever he wants, however when you are being paid a lot of money by a network and u drop the n bomb? what does he expect, i say at the end of the day he got what he deserved!

I do not agree with these types of comments, but, he was in the privacy of his own home and had no idea that his own son would be such a darsh and try to make a cheap buck. From what I have seen of his show, the people he arrest are complete garbage, but he does try to encourage them and help them out and make them better people. that could just be an act for the show, but it's what you see. You also have to realize that he is being a father and cares about his son and probably sees this person for what she really is. Still doesn't mean he should use racist tones, but he's looking out for his youngun'
